Hasan Kale is a unique and talented artist from Turkey who was born in 1960. Hasan create an incredibly intricate miniature paintings on small objects. The 53-year-old makes use of everything from wings of taxidermied
insects to a single pumpkin seed. He also uses pasta and even can
painstakingly paint on sharp spikes to make his art. Hasan has been working in miniature since the 1980s, the canvas for his incredible art of detailed mini-marvels – the wings of any taxidermied insect, lemon peel, pasta, snail shells, seeds, lump of sugar, grain of rice, even sharp plant spikes. And the skillful artist doesn’t need a wooden board on which to mix colors, he uses his finger as a palette.
