Elena Plekhanova is a geologist from Kiev. Elena and her husband both love and are passionate about stones. They create these paintings using varieties of semi-precious stones like rock crystal, citrine, topaz, carnelian and petrified fossil wood. Their unique paintings have a wonderful texture and delicacy provided by the rich color palette of the tiny stones. Photographs, unfortunately, can not fully reflect the beauty and the
