Master SilkSkif is the nickname of Anastasia, a talented artist from Russia. She most of all likes to paint batik on silk, making scarves and shawls in batik and tapestry techniques. Her beautiful art works depict interesting ethno motifs of prehistoric and ancient world. Her inspiration are Czech Art Nouveau painter and decorative artist Alphonse Mucha and Austrian symbolist painter Gustav Klimt. In her hand made artworks she uses only 100% silk and professional sticky paint that maintain original soft texture of silk.

Amazing 3D coffee art by Kazuki Yamamoto

Kazuki Yamamoto a young coffee latte artist from Japan has taken coffee art to an impressive new level. While coffee latte artists around the world are drawing from  flat images on foam, Yamamoto who is working as a barista in Osaka specializes in building actual 3D foam sculptures, some of which even climb out of their cups and reach out for others. Some of the latest temporary masterpieces swirled out of Yamamoto’s cup include a detailed car, giraffe, a three-eyed alien and a Hello Kitty character peeking out of a mug.
