abstract floral paintings by Megan Carty

abstract floral paintings by Megan Carty

New England artist Megan Carty bring the soothing, healing energy of nature's majesty to the viewer through rich and vibrant colors, pooled together and blended in unique and dynamic ways. They come from her Spirit to yours. Painting intuitively, Megan often "sees" the image she wants to paint appear in her mind's eye. She then gains clarity through meditation and inspiration from an archive of her own landscape photographs taken in her home state of Maine. With an idea and some colors in mind,  she sets to work manipulating paint panels. These pieces are representative of a sort of ’micro-burst’ in our lives that brings forth growth, beauty, and change which seems to be what we are all are striving for in our lives. Seeing art that aligns with your life or your emotions and philosophies can be powerful.

Awesome paper art by Wirin Chaowana

Wirin Chaowana,Bangkok-based artist  is so talented, she creates flowers, pendants and even complete tower-sculptures that are showcased in exhibitions regularly. The attention to detail is amazing. Her modest coloring and the absence of color in her floral works. It makes the papercut shapes come out so beautifully.

France paper artist Sonia Poli is tired of frames, than she decided to make something that ignores them. The result: a delicate paper collage called Vegetal Gradiant. Outgrowing the plate it’s portrayed in, it has carefully cut leaves that look like they will be hitting the ceiling shortly. And look: it has a well-hidden character peeking right at us!

Kasasagi paper art ideas

Kasasagi paper art ideas

Paper artist Kate Kato creates detailed and intricate sculptures of plants and insects using recycled materials.Using recycled materials Kato try to capture the delicate detail and beauty found in nature. Kato who live in Wales is influenced by plants, insects and found objects which she recreate as intricate, life-sized sculptures and arrange carefully into collections and dioramas. She use traditional techniques such as paper cutting, carving and embroidery to shape and embellish the recycled paper.
From bees and butterflies to mushrooms and flowers, Kato’s approach is one rooted in nostalgia, with her pieces transporting her back to her childhood faster than a Delorean. Her use of recycled paper, as well as being an A+ repurposing of well-worn books and magazines, reflects that nostalgia and gives her sculptures a history and narrative. “I like people to be able to see where the materials have come from as well as what I have turned them into, evoking that childish curiosity we all have somewhere inside!”
